XM Account Monitor ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our desktop application.

XM Account Monitor is a personal desktop tool that allows users to verify the login status of their Google accounts using Google's OAuth 2.0 protocol. The application runs entirely on your local device.
2. Google User Data We Access
Our application requests the following Google OAuth scopes:
- openid – Used to verify that a Google account is authenticated and active.
- email – Used to retrieve and display your primary Google account email address within the app interface.
3. How We Use Google User Data
The data obtained via the scopes above is used exclusively for:
- Displaying your account email address within the local app interface for identification purposes.
- Verifying that your Google account's OAuth token is valid and the account is accessible.
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose beyond the core functionality described above.
4. Data Storage
All data, including OAuth tokens, is stored locally on your device only in an encrypted JSON file. We do not transmit, upload, or share any of your data with external servers, third parties, or any cloud service.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal data or Google user data with any third parties under any circumstances.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data (OAuth tokens and email addresses) is stored locally. You can delete all stored data at any time by:
- Removing individual accounts using the "Delete" button in the application.
- Deleting the local data file

7. Security
All OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to external servers. We recommend keeping your device secure and using up-to-date operating system software.
8. Children's Privacy
Our application is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
